Welcome to St Mary’s CE Primary School.

 It is a great privilege and honour to welcome you to our wonderful school as Headteacher. Having been a teacher at St Mary’s for the past 11 years, and serving as Deputy Headteacher for the last three years, I am incredibly proud to lead a school and community that I know so well and care deeply about.

 At the heart of everything we do is our school vision: "To Live, Love and Learn Together in the Light of the Life of Christ." This vision guides and inspires our whole school community. We strive to follow the example of Christ in the way we treat one another; with kindness, compassion, respect and forgiveness, ensuring that every child feels valued, supported and encouraged to be the very best version of themselves.

 We believe that children thrive when they feel safe, loved and inspired to learn. Our dedicated staff work hard to provide an engaging and ambitious curriculum that enables all pupils to achieve their full potential academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. We encourage our children to embrace challenges, develop resilience and become confident, caring individuals who make a positive contribution to the world around them.

 St Mary’s is a school built on strong partnerships between home, school, church and the wider community. Together, we create an environment where everyone belongs and where our shared values shape our daily lives. We are proud of our inclusive and nurturing ethos, which helps every child to flourish and grow.
